The MR16 LED downlight, whose size is the same as a standard MR16, can be widely used for both general and specific lighting. Firstly, you’d better change the existing transformer to a constant voltage 12 Volt DC transformer that is much more reliable.

If your existing transformer is an electronic transformer, just change it to an iron core, magnetic or wire-wound type, which is friendlier to LED drivers.

If you don’t want to change the existing transformers, you’d better use a more reliable constant current LED driver for the 12V MR16 LED Bulbs.
